On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) presented the L.A. County Workforce Development Regional and Local Plans 2017-2020 (Plans) at the County Board of Supervisors meeting. The Plans provide a framework to align the County’s employment and training efforts with community colleges, adult schools, and other workforce development partners. The Board adopted a motion to help ensure successful implementation of the Plans through enhancing coordination of workforce development programs and services provided by County Departments.
“If we come together and align our efforts around these goals, we have an opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the residents and businesses in our region,” said Cynthia Banks, Director of WDACS.
