Area Agency on Aging Area Plan FY 2016 - 2020

Notice to WDACS AAA Service Providers and Older Adults

Pursuant to California Code of Regulations Title 22, Article 3, Section 7312(1), which requires notification to the public of a plan to revise adequate proportions, Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS) Area Agency on Aging (AAA) would like to inform its service providers and older adults that it is planning to revise the proportions in the allocation of funds between In-Home services and Case Management services under the Older Americans Act (OAA) Title IIIB – Supportive Services  Program.  The percentages for In-Home services will be reduced from 17% to 13% for FY 2018-19 only to accommodate increased need for Case Management services.

Please note that there is no fiscal impact to Supportive Services Program service providers as this change in the proportions will not result in decreasing the level of In-Home services in the current year.  If you have any questions, please contact us via email at AAAProgram@wdacs.lacounty.gov.
