Los Nietos Community and Senior Center

Los Nietos Community and Senior Service Center is a multi-purpose facility designed to enhance the community with a range of educational, social and recreational activities. Center staff network with other County departments and non-profit agencies to provide comprehensive information and referrals, form completion assistance, and translation services. The following programs and services offered at the center include but not limited to: form completion assistance, translation services, food bank, resource fairs, community forums, flu shot clinic and assistance in reporting elder abuse.

TOY LOAN PROGRAM

2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A program which provides an assortment of age and socially appropriate toys, games and books to children.  The program has a code of conduct and incentive plan.  Children may borrow toys once a week and are rewarded for returning toys in good condition and on-time and for continuing their membership.  Membership is free and requires a parent or guardian to register the child in the program.  Donations of new and near new toys and books are accepted.

The CalFresh Nutrition program cares and encourages all families to eat a healthy diet and be physically active.  Improving what you eat and being active will help to reduce the risk of chronic disease. For eligibility requirements a case worker is available.
