Improving Lives... Aging and Older Adults Los Angeles County operates a variety of programs administered by the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) that provide information and services on a range of assistance for older adults and those who care for them. MORE INFO In addition, the Adult Protective Services (APS) program is a 24-hour assistance program to investigate reports of abuse involving the elderly (65 +) and dependent adults (18 to 64) who have physical and mental impairments.
