WDACS wins 4 Awards from National Association of Counties
We are excited to announce that the National Association of Counties (NACo) has granted the County of Los Angeles 4 awards for our life-changing programs and initiatives in Human Services, Health, Transportation, and Volunteers. The NACo Awards is a non-competitive awards program that recognizes innovative county government programs and the 2019 NACo Awards celebrate 49 years of county innovation nationwide.
The awards winning programs are:
Older Adult Recognition Day in the category of Volunteers
New Freedom Transportation Services in the category of Transportation
Aging Mastery Program in the category of Health
LA Found Initiative – Project Lifesaver Pilot in the category of Human Services
